Tramm, Otto Frederick (21 July 1888 - 2 November 1951)

Otto Tramm, age 63, of Rockford, Ill., died at the home of his daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schweinler, on Friday. Funeral services were conducted on Monday at two o’clock at the Georgas Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Schewe officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Tramm, who formerly lived in Stanberry, Wis., was the son of Adolph and Amilia Ritter Tramm. He was born on July 21, 1888, in Minnesota. He moved to Clark County with his parents when five months old and had since resided here. He was a railroad section foreman for over 34 years. On December 23, 1917, he was married to Louise Schroeder at Neillsville.

He is survived by his wife of Rockford, Ill., and five children, Mrs. Charles (Eileen) Schweinler, Mrs. Glen (Margaret) Mund, both of Rockford, Ill., Carl Tramm of Milwaukee, Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Beyer of Neillsville, and Mrs. Ralph (Lois) Adkins of Arlington, Va.; two brothers, Adolph Tramm of Hayward and Rude Tramm of Mishawaka, Ind.

Funeral services were conducted for Otto Tramm on Friday at the Georgas Funeral Home. Interment was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery with the Rev. Alfred Schewe officiating. Victor Lehman accompanied Wilfred Galstad as he sang two selections.

Pallbearers were Perry Groat, James Elliott, Frank Leuthner, George Meyer, William H. Elliott and Andrew Brickman. Honorary pallbearer was Claude McCumber.

Floral offerings were in charge of Mrs. Mary Leuthner, Mrs. Perry Groat, Mrs. Augusta Eifling, Anna Johnson and Mrs. Claude McCumber.

Persons from out of town attending the rites included Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schroeder and daughter, Sandra, of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Kipp of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Tramm of Mishawaka, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Mund and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schweinler of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Augusta Eifling of Spring Brook, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Claude McCumber, Mrs. Anna Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Groat, Mrs. Mary Leuthner, George Meyer, William Elliott, Frank Leuthner, James Elliott and Andrew Brickman.
