Vanderhoof, Roselyn (Marriage - 25 May 1944)

Miss Roselyn Vanderhoof, daughter of Joel Vanderhoof, and Walter Stabnow, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stabnow, Sr., of Neillsville, exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony, Thursday morning at 9:00 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, Wis. The Rev. L. J. Lang officiated at the ceremony and read the Nuptial High Mass that followed.

The bride wore a mist green suit with white hat and gloves and a corsage of gladiolas. Miss Bernice Van Sleet, cousin of the bride, her attendant, wore a soft brown suit with aqua accessories and a corsage of gladioli. The groom was attended by Robert Lindner, Greenwood.

A dinner was served the immediate family and a few friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Olson, brother-in-law and sister of the bride. After a short wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in the city of Colby, Wis. The groom is a graduate of Greenwood high school and is employed at the Colby Theatre. The bride is a graduate of Colby high school and is employed as a telephone operator by the Commonwealth Telephone Company.

Out of town guests present were Mrs. Terence Collins and Mrs. Darrell Wagner, St. Paul; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stabnow, Sr., and Larry Stabnow, Neillsville; and Mrs. Theodore Ampe and Mr. and Mrs. James Sythe, Greenwood.
