Rosandich, Katherine (21 September 1891 - 14 November 1951)

Mrs. Steve Rosandich, 60, of Granton died at her home on Tuesday, November 14. Funeral services will be held at the Corpus Christi Church in Bakerville on Saturday, November 17. The body will lie in state at the Bergemann Funeral Home until then.

Mrs. Steve Rosandich of Granton, R. 3, died at her home on Wednesday, November 14, at 12:30 a.m. of a heart attack.

The body lay in state at the Bergemann Funeral Home on Thursday. On Friday it was taken to her home to lie in state until time of services. A general rosary was held at the home on Friday evening at 8 o’clock. A requiem high mass was held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church at Bakerville. The Rev. Fr. Garland Mueller was celebrant. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Rosandich, nee Katherine Mazar, was born in Croatia, Yugoslavia on September 21, 1891. She came to the United States in 1913. On December 31, 1914 she was married to Steve Rosandich in West Allis. They resided there for approximately one year when they moved to Clark County and settled on a farm in the Town of Sherwood where they lived since that time. Mrs. Rosandich was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society of Chili.

She is survived by her husband and 13 children: Joe of Granton, Mike of Milwaukee, John of Oconomowoc, Tom of Milwaukee, Steve of Granton, Louis of Auburndale, Paul, who is in the service at Camp Breckenridge, Ky., Nick of River Falls, Mrs. Gilbert (Rose) Bymers of Marshfield, Mrs. Norbert (Mary) Barton of Granton, Mrs. Reuben (Amanda) Glinski of Stratford, Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Schultz of Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Al (Ann) Bartell of West Allis; also 17 grandchildren.

One child, three sisters and one half-brother preceded her in death.

Pallbearers were: John Rosandich, Tom Paun, Mike Rosandich, John Matonich, Milan Matonich, and Pete Matonich. Floral offerings were in charge of Suzanne Rosandich, Mary Jayne Paun, Martha Paun, Margie Paun, Beverly Rollins, Shirley Rollins and Connie Matonich.
