While here he was employed as machinist on the railroad. In about 1923 he left for Chicago and continued his work as a machinist. The past six years he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Otto Grundeman in Holton, Kansas.

On Nov. 15 he came from Kansas to visit his sister, Mrs. Fred Wilhelmi, here, and his sister, Mrs. Anton Roal at Medford. While at Medford he was stricken with a heart attack and within a half hour, died.

Besides his three sisters, he is survived by a brother, Fred Peche, Elmwood Park, Ill. His parents preceded him in death.
