Haeuser, Arnold Ernest (? - 24 Jan. 1946)

Mr. and Mrs. George Haeuser of Greenwood, received word of the death of his brother, Arnold Ernest Haeuser, 40, Thursday, Jan. 24 at a hospital in Fergus Falls, Minn. He had been ill the past several years due to tuberculosis.

Mr. Haeuser, son of the late Henry and Marie Haeuser, was born in Dorchester, attended grade school and was graduated from Abbotsford high school. He was confirmed in the Lutheran church in Hibbing, Minn.

He was employed in Hibbing until he became ill about 20 years ago and was taken to a hospital at Fergus Falls, where he received treatment for tuberculosis.

The body arrived at Dorchester on Monday morning and was taken to the Fuchsgruber Funeral Home. Services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at Dorchester at the Salem Evangelical church.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Knopp and Mrs. Harriet Cagnacci, both of Talent, Ore., and Mrs. Martha Sorenson, Burlington; and four brothers, Louis, Vancouver, Canada; Charles, Minburn, Canada; his twin brother, Ernest, Rugby, N. Dak.; and George, Greenwood.

Besides his parents, three sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
