She was born Dec. 28, 1919, in Bear Creek. She farmed in the town of Little Black and was employed at Weathershield Mfg. in Medford.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacklin Robinson of Dorchester; four sons, Darrell (Mary) Peissig of Fond du Lac, Larry (Cathy) Peissig of Pewaukee, Dell (Mary) Peissig of Curtiss and Kim (Carla) Peissig of Dorchester; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; five sisters, St. Agnes "Yvonne" Bessette of Van Buren, Ark., Elaine Laux of Appleton, Sr. Bernard "Marcella" Bessette of Hot Springs, Ark., Sr. Anthony "Marion" Bessette of Eau Claire; and five brothers, Edward Bessette of Clintonville, Terrance Bessette of Waupaca, Joseph Bessette of Sheboygan, Thomas Bessette of New London and Arthur Bessette of Clintonville.
