Buranovsky, Veronica (MAR 1882 - 16 SEP 1951)

Veronica Buranovsky, 79 years of age (doesn’t match up with birth date), passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Hoeper, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), early Sunday morning, succumbing to a long illness. Several months ago she suffered a stroke from which she never recovered.

The deceased was born on March 1882 in Austria. Her remains were sent to Phoenixville , Pa, where services were conducted and burial made in the family lot placing her along side of her husband who died several years ago.

Mrs. Buranovsky was a former resident of this community, having resided on a farm south of the city for many years, moving here from Pennsylvania. After retiring from farming she and her husband again moved to Pennsylvania.

During her late years in life she had spent much of her time since her husband’s death living with a daughter in Chicago and in June came to Curtiss to live with her daughter, Mrs. Fred Hoeper.

Surviving here are Mrs. Hjalmer Kalberg, Withee and Mrs. Lawrence Davidson of Ardmore, Pa., and Mrs. Fred Hoeper, Curtiss, and 2 sons, Edward, Chester, Pa., and Paul, Glendive, Montana. One son Joe preceded her in death about 1 months ago, drowning at Post Falls, Idaho. Her husband died in 1934.
