Anderson, Virginia (13 OCT 1951)

Miss Virginia Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Anderson, Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Gerald Roohr, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Roohr of Atwood (Clark Co.), at Colby Saturday, Oct. 13th, 1951, at 10 a.m.

Their only attendants were Wayne Roohr and Shirley Stasek, brother and cousin of the groom.

The bride chose for her wedding a gray suit with black accessories, a cluster of white carnations composed her corsage.

The tan suit worn by Shirley Stasek was complemented with brown accessories and her corsage was identical with that of the bride.

A reception was held at 12 o’clock at the groom’s home, at which the following relatives and friends were presents: Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roohr and son, and Mrs. Jenny Fancher, Neenah, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Roohr and granddaughter, and Mrs. Melvin Roohr and daughter, Pittsville, Mrs. Elizabeth Roohr, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hein and son, New Holstein, Mrs. Milton Anderson and Mrs. Jim Anderson, Town of Hoard; Mrs. Clara Roohr, Mrs. Paul Stasek and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Burhop and family, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Witte and granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Neuman and family, Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Harlen Reack and son, and JoAnn Witt of Atwood.

They will reside at Milwaukee where the groom is employed at Allis-Chalmers.
