Braatz, Linda (Marriage - 29 May 1971)

Miss Linda Braatz of Kenosha and Gary Holtz were married Saturday, May 29, at 5 p. m. in a double-ring ceremony performed in Trinity Lutheran Church, Kenosha, by the Rev. J. Lynn Woosley. An evening reception for 300 guests was held at the VFW. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bratz of Rt. 2 Granton. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mr. Carl Holtz of Kenosha.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a traditional bridal gown of white satin. Mrs. Lamar Hardwick of Oconomowoc was the matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Steve Guyette of Milwaukee, Mrs. Robert Ambelang, and Mrs. Dale Braatz of Wausau. Junior bridesmaids included Debra Wilharms, Kim Hardwick and Kay Hardwick. Lara Ambelang was the flower girl. The bridal attendants wore yellow and mint green gowns and carried bouquets of mixed flowers.

Bestman was Thomas Flannery. Groomsmen were Daniel Skeans, Lamar Hardwick and Allen Lambie. Arlan Lambie and Jeffery Bock served as ushers.

The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Canada. They will live in Kenosha, where Mrs. Holtz, a graduate of Granton High School, is employed. Her husband, a Tremper High School graduate is employed by a Woodworth construction Company.
