Kusmierz, Josephine (17 MAR 1885 - 8 MAY 1952)

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Palaszewski at St. Mary’s Church at Lublin at ten o’clock Monday morning for Mrs. Louis (Josephine) Kusmierz, 67, a former resident of the Town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), who passed away in a Milwaukee hospital on Thursday, May 8th, 1952 after a long illness.

The deceased, who was born in Poland on March 17, 1885, came to America forty-two eyars ago. She resided in Gary, Ind. until 1927 and then came to Thorp and located on a farm southwest of here,w here she resided until the death of her husband in 1945. Since that time she had spent her time with her children at Gary, Stanley and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She is survived by a son, Stanley B. of Gary, Ind., one stepson, barney of Gary, two daughters, Mrs. Sophie Hackey of Mt. Iron, Minn. And Mrs. Josephine Koman of Milwaukee, fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bruno Lis, Mitchell Myslinski, Walter Horonziak, Harvey and Harry Boie, and Albert Hawkins of Mt. Iron, Minn.
