Tresemer, Susan (1 JUL 1952)

Now on a wedding trip in northern Wisconsin are Mr. and Mrs. Everett P. Skroch who were united in marriage at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville, by Rev. John J. Pritzl.

The double ring ceremony was performed before an altar decorated with bouquets of peonies and mock orange blossoms.

The bride, the former Miss Susan Tresemer, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Tresemer, and the groom’s father is Paul Skroch, all of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.)

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of satin and lace. Her snug fitting bodice and long sleeves were of lace. Front lace panels detailed her full skirt which extended into a long train.

A lace bonnet trimmed with orange blossoms held her veil of illusion net edged with Chantilly lace and she carried a bouquet of pink roses and white swansonia.

Mrs. Elton Imig, the groom’s sister, was matron of honor. Her coral colored satin formal was designed with a satin bodice and a bouffant taffeta skirt. Completing her outfit was a crownless picture hat of satin and matching gauntlets and she carried a colonial bouquet of sweetheart roses and sweet peas.

Mrs. Raymond Tesmer, as bridesmaid, wore a Nile green costume styled like the matron of honor’s. Her hat and gauntlets also matched her frock and she also carried a colonial bouquet.

Elton Imig was best man and Raymond Tesmer, the groomsman.

Ushers were Harry McIntyre and Dr. A. J. Fahrmer.

A dinner was served to about 100 guests in the Legion Hall, which was decorated in coral, green and white streamers, white wedding bells and flowers. The couple also greeted guests at a reception there during the afternoon.

The bride, a graduate of Neillsville High School, had been employed the past four years as cashier at the A & P Store. Her husband, who graduated from the Neillsville High School and the University of Wisconsin Law School, has law offices in Neillsville and Thorp.

After July 1 they will be at home to friends at 719 Hewett St., Neillsville.

Out of town guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Simon Skroch, Mrs. Josephine Rumple, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Roman Smigaj and Mrs. Rose Weier, Independence; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sygulla, Whitehall; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Karasch, Mauston; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wagner, Eau Claire; Mrs. Math Scherer, La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Welsh, Altoona, and Miss Mary Dickof, Marshfield.
