Kunesch, Marie #2 (24 SEP 1870 - 6 JAN 1953)

Mrs. Marie Kunesch of Thorp city (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at the Victory Hospital at Stanley on Tuesday, Jan. 6th, 1953, following a long illness.

The deceased was born in Bohemia on Sept. 24, 1870, and was united in marriage there in 1896 to Wenzel Kunesh. She came to America in 1920 and resided here in the city of Thorp until death.

She is survived by her husband and one sons, Joseph and wife, two grandsons and three great-granddaughters. Four of her children and her only brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Church here at 9:30 Saturday morning, Rev. A. M. Muckerheide officiating. She was laid to rest in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
