Kowalski, Mary (8 DEC 1892 - 4 JUN 1953)

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Herbert Zoromski at ten o’clock Monday morning, June 8, at St. Hedwig’s Church, for Mrs. Joseph Kowalski, 60, who passed away at Eau Claire of heart ailment on June 4th, 1953.

Mary Cutkowski was born in Poland on Dec. 8, 1892. She came to America in 1899 and on Nov. 6, 1912 was united in marriage to Joseph Kowalski at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). She resided for four years in the village of Thorp and for the past 32 years, and at the time of her death, was a resident of the Town of Thorp.

She is survived by her husband and one son, Fred, at home, one daughter, Alice Czyzewicz of Thorp, one brother, Stanley Cutkowski of Thorp, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Jurek of Valparaiso, Ind., and Mrs. Rose Cnrzastek of Florida.

Burial was made in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Navarre, James Ignasiak, Stanley Ignasiak, Walter Pogodzinski, Thomas Chodera and Geo. Jankoski.

Out of town relatives and friends who attended the funeral of Mrs. Jos. Kowalski June 8th here were: Mrs. Helen Jurek, Valparaiso, Ind.; Stanley, Tomczak, Mr.…..(the rest of my copy was cut off).
