Clouse, Dale E. (1930? - 29 JUL 1945)

Funeral services for Dale Eldon Clouse, 15, of the town of Beaver, who died of a heart attack while swimming at Hatfield on Sunday, July 29, were at the Trinity Lutheran church here on Wednesday, Aug. 1, with the Rev. J. C. Langholz officiating.

Six of his young friends acted as pallbearers. They were Harry Smith, Robert Lulloff, Robert Stayton, Vern Gardner, Walter Tomczak and Howard Sturtz Jr. He was laid to rest in the Pine Grove cemetery.

Flower girls were Virgene Olson, Joan Taylor, Donna Mae Lindekugel, Wanda Nysted, Jane Smith, Eunice Langholz, Lois Smith and Deloris Pieper. Mrs. Romaine Rossow and Miss Laura Noeldner sang "Rock of Ages" and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," and Mrs. Rossow sang a solo, "Asleep in Jesus."

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were: Mrs. George Bauer of Wisconsin Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Becker, Mr. and Mrs. John Lange, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wittlinger and Mr., and Mrs. Alden Hardrath, all of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller of Riplinger, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dunn of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dunn of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ayer, Mr. and Mrs. David Vanderhoof, Mrs. Walter Ayer, all of Spencer, Miss Lila Dunn of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Allan Clouse of Waukesha.
