Thurber, Nancy M. (27 JUL 1945)

On July 27 at 7 p.m. the nuptial service for Miss Nancy M. Thurber, daughter of Mrs. George Thurber of Loyal, and Pfc. Richard C. Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Larson, also of Loyal was read by Chaplain J. F. Morgan at the Air Force Chapel at Lowery Field, Col.

The Bride chose a dress suit of powder blue crepe, with white accessories for her wedding, with which she wore a corsage of orchids.

Cpl. And Mrs. R. G. Erickson acted as attendants.

The chapel organist played "I Love You Truly," "Always" and the wedding march.

Guests at the wedding were Mrs. Fred Beir and daughter, Mary Lou, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rahencamp and Mr. and Mrs. Dobbs of Denver, Col., and Mrs. Oliver Hendrikson of Greenwood, a guest of Mrs. Beir.

After the ceremony at 9 o’clock, a reception was held at the Beir home in Denver. The important part of the refreshments was a cake made by Mrs. Thurber and sent to Denver for her daughter’s wedding.

After the reception, the newlyweds left for Colorado Springs, Col., on a brief honeymoon. They are making their home in Denver, where the groom is taking special training as a turret specialist.

Mrs. Larson was born and grew to womanhood in Loyal. She is a graduate of the Loyal high school, with the class of 1942, and has held positions with the Clark county selective service board here and the Butler shipyards at Duluth, Minn.

Private Larson is a graduate of the Greenwood high school, with the class of 1935, and assisted his father on the farm before entering the service of his country.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
