Davis, Florence Elinor (Marriage - 7 Oct. 1950)
Florence Elinor Davis and Carl W. Anderson, of Carmichael, California, were married Saturday afternoon, Oct. 7, at a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. James Comfort Smith in the Chapel, Carmichael Community Church. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burton St. John.
The bride was attired in a dressmaker suit of navy faille and wore a picture hat of navy velvet. Her corsage was a white orchid. Mrs. St. John wore a beige gabardine suit with black accessories.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Olive M. Davis, of Carmichael and the late Stephen W. Davis. She attended San Juan Union high school, Sacramento Junior College, and the School of Nursing, Los Angeles General hospital.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Anderson, Abbotsford, Wis. He is employed in the Sacramento office of the Collector of Internal Revenue.
Immediately after the ceremony the couple left on a wedding trip to the high Sierras. They will be at home to their friends after Oct. 22 at 2581 Avalon Drive, in Del Paso Manor, Sacramento, California.
