 Witkus, Rita Jean (20 Oct. 1964 - 5 June 2009)

 LOYAL -- Rita J. Witkus, 44, of Loyal, formerly of Ashland, Ky., died June 5, 2009, at her home.

 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at Fannin-Fields Cemetery in Catlettsburg, Ky., at a later date.

 Rita Jean Howard was born Oct. 20, 1964, in Ashland, Ky., the daughter of Warren Sr. and Ellobee (Fields) Howard. After completing her schooling, Rita moved to Florida, where she worked in a seafood processing plant in Cocoa Beach.

 Rita was united in marriage Oct. 13, 1992, to Brian Witkus in Catlettsburg, Ky. They resided in Kentucky until moving to Loyal in September of 2007, where she worked as a waitress at Grandma's Kitchen.

 She is survived by her husband, Brian; her children, Kory Witkus and Hollie Witkus, all of Loyal; three brothers, Warren Jr. (Tammy) Howard of Ashland, Ky., Johnny (Angie) Howard of Lexington, Ky., and Glen Howard of Russell, Ky.; three sisters, Maria (Doug) Pence, Janet (Jim) Manning and Anita Garretson, all of Ashland Ky.
