  Gleiter, Elizabeth (1863 - 1945)

 

Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth Gleiter were conducted at the Minshall funeral home on Monday, Sept. 3, at 1:30, with the Rev. E. C. Fredrick of Helenville officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery at Helenville.

 

Pallbearers were six nephews, Clarence, Freddie, Henry and Sam Gleiter and Clarence and Erwin Froeba. Mrs., George Ruel of Helenville sang a solo.

 

Miss Gleiter, daughter of Michael and Henrietta Gleiter was born on Sept. 22, 1863, and for the past 35 years had made her home in Jefferson, following a lingering illness.

 

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Julia Gleiter of Alma and Mrs. Mary Froeba of Loyal. Twenty-four nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Froeba and daughters, Viola and Nancy, and Mrs. Mary Froeba.

 

Miss Gleiter will be remembered by many here, as she made her home with her sister at the Thomas Froeba home on different occasions.
