Thompson, Theodore (22 Apr. 1882 - 11 Apr. 1951)

 

A large number of residents from Abbotsford and vicinity attended the funeral of Theodore Thompson, 69, held Saturday afternoon at the Evangelical Lutheran church, Curtiss, followed by internment there. The Rev. O. K. Odland officiated.

 

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. H. H. Christofferson, W. J. Rush, Claude Whitney, Calvin Mills, John Miller, Harold Tonn and Orville Laabs.

 

Active pallbearers were A. M. Erickson, Emil R. Erickson, Cornell Erickson, Cornell Erickson, Gust Becken, Al Nelson, and Albert Bakke.

 

Mrs. A. M. Erickson, Mrs. William Steinke, Mrs. Ida Schiszik, Mrs. Anna Peterson, Mrs. Albert Bakke, Mrs. Marcus Hermanson, Mrs. Robert Nissen, Mrs. Amanda Borgemoen, and Miss Clara Peterson were in charge of floral arrangements.

 

Mr. Thompson was killed Wednesday about 3:30 in the afternoon, when he fell into a revolving saw while cutting wood on his farm.
