Wrath, Paul Wayne (7 April 1935 - 6 June 2009) With Flag 

 

Paul Wrath, age 74, of Granton died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at his home. 

 

Paul Wayne Wrath was born April 7, 1935, in Kenosha, the  son of Herbert and Elsie (Pabst) Wrath.  After completing his education, he enlisted into the United States Air Force, and served during the Korean War. After his discharge from the Air Force he lived in Florida for 25 years and worked as a boat captain in a clipper fleet supplying oil rigs with supplies.  Paul was a lifetime member of the VFW. 

He is survived by his children, Kelly (David Tooth) Wrath of Granton, Troy Waymeier of Florida, Debbie Raether of Granton, Monty (Barbara) Waymeier of Wisconsin Rapids, Dawn Wrath of Kenosha and Paul Wrath Jr. of Appleton; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. 

 

A memorial service for Paul will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009, at The Highground.  Pastor John Trewyn will assist in the service.  Military honors will be accorded by the Neillsville Veterans Council.  Immediately following services at The Highground, there will be a gathering of family and friends at Kelly and David’s house in Granton.
