Horner, Frank J. #3 (9 JAN 1859 - 31 JUL 1952)

 

Frank John Horner was placed in his final resting place in the Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Sunday afternoon, Aug. 3.  Funeral services were conducted at two o’clock from St. Luke’s Church at South Green Grove with Rev. Paul Dietz officiating.

 

Pallbearers were Theodore and Walter Miller, Lloyd Nelson, Emil Rudolph and Fred Horner.

 

The deceased passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, on Thursday, July 31, 1952, suffering from complications of old age.  He was 93 years of age.

 

Frank John Horner was born on Jan. 9, 1859 at Two Rivers, Wis.  As a youth of 18 years he came to Clark County settling on a farm in the Green Grove community where he had resided for the past 75 years.  On April 17, 1883 he was united in marriage to Mina Meinholdt at Greenwood.

 

Surviving him are three sons, Chas. Of Unity; Edward, Owen and Herman of Ypsilanti, Mich. And four daughters, Mrs. Dave Pepip, Mrs. Clarence Johnston, Mrs. Clarence Taylor and Miss Emma Horner, all of California.
