Several young ladies of Thorp passed through on their way to Greenwood to attend the teachers' institute.
A. C. Barr and Ethel Carlton were married July 5th at the bride's home in Tioga.
Mr. and Mrs. Jenks of Perkinstown, have been visiting in this vicinity.
P F. Lantz and wife returned from Thorp Tuesday.
Mr. Gibson and wife and Mr. Jenks and wife went to Greenwood Thursday.
A. C. Barr was elected school treasurer at the annual meeting of the school board.
Bill Philner of Melrose, came up to do Mr. Farwell's haying this season.
Ed., John and Edna Bowen went to Marshfield Wednesday.
Walter Carlon spent the Fourth at Marshfield.
