Krug, Beatrice #2 (6 SEP 1952)

The Holway Lutheran Church, Medford, provided the setting at 2:30 p.m. Saturday for the marriage of Miss Beatrice Krug, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Krug, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Virgil Lee Decker, son of Mrs. Anne Decker, Unity, Wis.  The Rev. O. K. Odland officiated at the service.

The bride wore a gown of marquisette with a snug-fitting bodice featuring long tapering sleeves and a round yoke, accented with a lace ruffle and a double fold of marquisette.  The full skirt was trimmed with two rows of Chantilly lace and extended into a long train.  Her fingertip blusher veil, edged with lace, was caught to a coronet of lace and she carried a shower bouquet of large mums surrounded with sprays of small white mums.

Miss Annabelle Krug, attired in a gown of yellow net and lace over taffeta, served her sister as maid of honor.  Gladioli formed her bouquet, and white, yellow and lilac baby mums were used in her headdress.

Miss Nan Decker, a sister of the groom, in light green, and Miss Dorothy Gun, Stetsonville, in lilac, were bridesmaids.  Their gowns were fashioned identical to that of the maid of honor, and their flowers and headdresses were also the same.

Clifford Neitzel, Curtiss, an uncle of the groom, was best man,a nd Merlin Paul, Wausau, a cousin of the groom, and George Krug, Owen, a brother of the bride, were groomsmen.

Kenneth Kruger, Owen, a cousin of the bride, and Elmer Neitzel, Curtiss, another uncle of the groom, ushered.

Supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents after the service.  The couple greeted guests there at a reception.

The bride is a graduate of the Owen High School and the groom received his education in the Brady School.

Following a honeymoon trip to southern Wisconsin the couple will reside on the groom’s farm near Unity, Wis.

Out of town guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mueller, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Gadman, and Mrs. Harlow Sherman, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Safemaster, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leisinger and Mrs. Anne Decker, Unity, Wis.
