Frank Tompkins has returned home from Rice Lake, where he has spent most of the summer.
A bouncing boy was born to Warren Worden and wife last Thursday, July 19.
Ed. Fraser of Chili, was a welcome caller in this burg last week.
Farmers are trying to hay; also to harvest between showers.
Mrs. Tompkins has gone to Rice Lake on a visit.
P. J. Kemmeter has built another addition to his store.
Ross Paulson made a trip to Christie Sunday. Mrs. P. and baby accompanied him.
The Democrats are sure they will win this fall, but we guess not.
