Gust, Inez (Marriage - 29 June 1952)

The Immanuel Lutheran church at Campbellsport was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Miss Inez Gust, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gust, of West Bend, formerly of Abbotsford, and Elmer Schwoch, son of Emil Schwoch, of Williams, Mont., were united in marriage. The ceremony took place Sunday, June 29, at 2:30 o’clock, with the Rev. K. A. Kabes reading the double ring service.

The bride, who was presented in marriage by her father, was attired in a nylon net gown, designed with long sleeves and train. Lace was used in the cape with its high collar and down the front of the skirt. Her net veil was fastened to a sweetheart head dress of pearls and net. She carried a white prayer book with a white orchid and ribbon streamers.

The bride’s attendants all wore frocks made alike of veleray over taffeta, accented with a wide sash to match the under color. Miss Bernadine Gust, Milwaukee, maid of honor and Miss Carol Gust, West Bend, junior bridesmaid, sisters of the bride, wore white over blue, with yellow head bands. They carried fans of yellow net with a spray of yellow roses and blue carnations.

Miss Elaine Paull, Detroit, Mich., a friend, and Miss Gloria Rucks, Lomira, a cousin, wore white over yellow and carried blue net fans, with yellow roses and white carnations. They wore floral head bands.

Miss Faith Gust, sister, was flower girl and wore all white. She carried a colonial bouquet of roses and carnations.

William Schwoch, Montana, was his cousin’s best man. Roger Gust, Michigan, brother of the bride, and Robert Schwoch, Conrad, Montana, cousin of the groom, were groomsmen and Richard Gust was usher.
