Lysdahl, Birdelle (21 MAR 1953)

The First Congregational Church, Owen, provided the setting at 2:30 p.m. Saturday for the marriage of Miss Birdelle Lysdahl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lysdahl, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Robert Granum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Granum, Holmen.  The Rev. Arthur Meinhardt was the officiating clergyman.

A rose point lace over satin gown featuring an off the shoulder illusion neckline, southern colonial style, and a hoop skirt was worn by the bride.  A lace bonnet type headpiece secured her fingertip veil of illusion edged with lace.  She carried an arrangement of deep pink roses surrounded by calla lilies.

Arlene Mills, Owen, was the maid of honor, and Rita Olson, the bridesmaid.  Taffeta and tulle gowns in light blue and pink, respectively, were worn by the two attendants.  Each carried a bouquet of carnations

Richard Granum, a brother of the groom, was best man, and Byden Skogen, the groomsman.

After the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors.  Pink, white and blue streamers and white bells decorated the room, and a three-tiered wedding cake, baked by Mrs. C. N. MacMillan, centered the main table.

The newly married couple will make their home in River Falls, where both are students at Wis. State College there.

Guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ebner, Sr., Joseph Ebner, Jr., Jerome Ebner, William Bonnier, Henry Anderson and family, Fred Hicke, A. T. Rasmussen and Mrs. Gale Rausk, La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Granum, Melvin Granum and family, Norman Omer Lund, Mrs. Martin Volla, Miss Jean Folksdahl, Bob and Dick McCurdy, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Tauchen, River Falls, and Norman Parker and Allen Hedman, Necedah.
