Munson, Mary A. (25 NOV 1953)

The Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Withee was the scene of a lovely wedding ceremony Wednesday morning, Nov. 25, 1953, at 9 o’clock when Miss Mary Alice Munson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Munson of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) and Mr. John D. Easter, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Easter of Cheyenne, Wyoming, repeated their marriage vows.  Rev. Hubert Crubel officiated at the service.

The bride wore a gown of braided satin with a tulle skirt over satin.  Her veil was silk tulle fashioned from a Juliet cap.  She carried a bouquet of white roses.

The bride’s attendant was her sister, miss Helen Munson.  She was attired in a light blue gown of tulle and carried a bouquet of yellow mums.

The groom’s attendant was Mr. E. E. Schuerens of Waukegan, Ill.  The The men wore the conventional dark suits.

A wedding dinner was served to the immediate family at the home of the bride’s brother, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Munson.

After honeymooning through the Midwest the newlyweds will return to their home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where the groom is employed at a clerk at the post office in Cheyenne.  The bride is a registered nurse and is employed at the General Hospital in Cheyenne.

For her going away outfit, the bride wore a white suit with blue accessories and a corsage of white roses.
