Schwellenbach, John (30 January 1941 - 2 July 1995)

 

John H. Schwellenbach, 54, of Racine, Wis., passed away Sunday, July 2, 1995, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  John was born in Neillsville on Jan. 30, 1941, the son of the late Earl and Othilia (Hauser) Schwellenbach.

 

He was united in marriage to Sandra A. Shober on may 26, 1965, at St. Anthony’s Church in Loyal.
 

John was employed by J. I. Case Co. for 30 years, retiring July 1, 1995.  He was a member of St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, J. I. Case 20 Year Club, and was very active in youth sports activities.  John loved life, his family, sports and people.

 

Survivors include his wife, Sandra; two sons and daughter-in-law: Jay (Robin) Schwellenbach of Saginaw, Mich., John E. Schwellenbach of Racine, Wis.; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie (Jim) Travis of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren: Jordan and Taylor Schwellenbach; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Tony (Evelyn) Schober; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Karen Treutel, Toni Lindgren, Candice (Scott) Schober, David and Kevin Shober; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 5, 1995, at 7 p.m. at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, 3035 Drexel Avenue, with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating.
 

Interment will be held at St. Anthony Cemetery, Loyal, Wis.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church.

 

Memorials to St. Lucy’s Catholic Church Building Fund in John’s memory has been suggested by the family.

 

Maresh-Meridith Funeral Home, Racine is in charge of arrangements.
