Hoffman, Arleen (Marriage - 19 Mar. 1955)

Miss Arleen Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hoffman, Abbotsford, and Jerome Christophersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Christophersen, of Withee, were united in marriage Saturday evening. The Rev. Victor Grosshuesch read the double ring service at 7:30 in the First Evangelical and Reformed church at Colby.

For the occasion, the bride wore a strawberry colored suit with white trim and white accessories. Yellow roses and white mums were used in her corsage.

Mrs. Lorraine Manthe and Lyle Hoffman, sister and brother of the bride, were the attendants.

The matron of honor wore a beige suit with red accessories and a corsage of roses and mums.

The mothers of the bridal couple chose navy blue ensembles which were accented by corsages of red roses.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Rayner.

Mr. and Mrs. Christophersen are at home to friends in Withee where the groom is engaged in a welding business. Prior to her marriage, the bride was employed at the Sweet Shop in Marshfield.
