Erickson, Elaine (Marriage - 22 Nov. 1955)

Miss Elaine Erickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Erickson, Abbotsford, and Lannie Voss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voss, town of Mayville, were united in marriage at Medford Tuesday, Nov. 22.

For the occasion, the bride wore a street length dress of pink with interwoven gold threads, accented with a corsage of deep pink and yellow roses. A white hat and other accessories in black completed her ensemble.

The couple’s only attendants were friends of the bridal couple, Miss Alice Pollack and Richard Cox, both of Abbotsford.

Miss Pollack wore a pink faille dress and white hat. Her corsage was of yellow roses.

The mother of the bride wore a gray dress and the groom’s mother chose one of navy blue. Both wore black accessories and had identical corsages of pink and white carnations. For the groom’s grand mother, Mrs. Ecke, there was a corsage of yellow and white carnations.

At 4:00 o’clock, refreshments were served at the Erickson home and at 8:00 o’clock, dinner for the immediate families was served at the Casa Grande. A dance at Cherokee was held in the evening, after which lunch was served at the home of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Voss are making their home with the groom’s parents on a farm in the town of Mayville. The bride, a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, class of 1951, is employed at Camp’s Pontiac and Buick Garage, at Wausau.
