Wolff, Elona (September 1, 1910)

 

This morning at 9 o’clock will occur the marriage of Miss Elona Wolff and Chas. Doerr, Rev. Risser will perform the ceremony.  The attending couples will be Miss Amelia Doerr and Dell Wolff, Genevieve Eunson and Harry Benedict.  Miss Jessie Wolff will play the Mendelssohn wedding march.  The bride will wear white messaline and will carry a shower bouquet of bridal roses and lilies of the valley.  The maids will carry cream roses.  The house decorations will be of roses, ferns and hearts.  After the wedding dinner, the bridal couple will leave for Glendive, Mont., on a wedding trip, after which they return to Maywood, Ill., to take up their residence.  The wedding will be a quiet one, and will be witnessed by the close friends and relatives.

 

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wolff and is one of the most popular young ladies in this city.  She attended the Neillsville schools and is in every way equipped to assist in the establishment of a complete and happy home.  Mr. Doerr is a mechanic by trade and a resident of Maywood, Ill., where he has a most profitable employment.  He has visited this city at various times and upon his visits here has impressed all who met him with his evident uprightness of character and reliability of disposition.
