Hansen, Dolores A. #2 (2 JUN 1954)

 

Mr. Arlyn Raymond Kubera, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kubera of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Dolores Ann Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hansen of Colby, were united in marriage by Rev. Frank Brickel at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Colby, in a ceremony performed at 9 a.m. on June 2nd, 1954.

 

The bride was beautifully attired in a white floor length gown of embroidered lace over satin.  The fitted bodice was fastened down the back with a row of tiny covered buttons.  Her bridal bouquet was of white carnations and pink roses.

 

The bridesmaid, Miss Lorrayne Kubera, wore a dress of yellow lace over matching net and Miss Shirley Feind of Colby, maid of honor was attired in a pink lace gown over net.  Their flowers were a cascade arrangement of pink, yellow and white carnations.

 

Attending the groom were George Hansen Jr. of Colby, brother of the bride, and Albert Weix of Colby ushered.

 

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner and reception were given at the home of the bride’s parents which was decorated with pink, yellow and white streamers for the occasion.  In the evening a dance was given at the Colby Park.

 

The bride, who was born in Thorp, has been a resident of Colby since 1946 where she graduated from high school and has been employed as a telephone operator there.  The groom graduated from Thorp High School and is a painter.  They are residing in Thorp.
