County News

 

Curtiss, Wisconsin 

 

Mrs. J. C. Daniels and children returned from Beaver Dam Wednesday after visiting relatives for a month.

 

New boy at Jake Jacobson's house. All doing well.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Machlett were in Abbotsford on business Friday.

 

Oluf Thompson has been to Neillsville on business this week.

 

Mrs. Klemm returned from Marshfield Friday.

 

Wm. Mauthey went to Stevens Point on business Saturday, returning Monday.

 

Ida Dauber returned to Stevens Point Saturday after visiting with Wm. Mauthey and wife a week.

 

Rev. Austin of Withee conducted services here Sunday afternoon.

 

A. C. Millestett of Beaver Dam arrived with his family and household goods Friday and will live on the place formerly owned by Thos. Selver.

 

Christi Thompson drove to Abbotsford Friday.

 

Geo. Daniels is visiting relatives here.

 

Matt Lee who has been in the hospital at Chippewa Falls has returned greatly improved.

 

Edward Lunay, one of the bridge carpenters at the Poplar river, fell from a scaffold Thursday, receiving a severe cut in the face.

 

Albert Eschwig has sold his blacksmith shop to Mr. Abbott of Ogdensburg, Wis., who will take charge in a few days. Mr. Eschwig contemplates going to Seattle, Wash.

 

Jos Koffarnus has gone to Welcome, Minn., to visit his brother.

 

Annie Machlett went to Withee Wednesday, returning Thursday.

 

Banty Tuttie went to St. Paul Monday.

 

Herman Lauver is in Dodge Co. this week on business.

 

Frank Matthias was down from Chippewa Falls Sunday.
