Weeks, Emaline Clark (May 4, 1829 - Nov 15, 1911) 
 

Emaline Clark was born at Westfield, Otsego county, New York, on May 4, 1829.  In August, 1845, she was united in marriage to L. Weeks at Cooperstown, N.Y., and in 1855 the came to Dodge county, Wisconsin.  Two years later they removed to Black River Falls, where they resided for many years.  About thirty years ago they came to Neillsville to take up their residence, Mr. Weeks engaging in the furniture business. 
 

Mrs. Weeks died at her home in this city on Nov. 15, 1911.  Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Weeks, two of whom, with their aged father, survive their mother.  The children are Robert Weeks and Mrs. Charles Sherritt.  One daughter, Mary, died many years ago at Black River Falls. 
 

Mrs. Weeks was a woman of many pleasant and memorable attainments.  She was kind-hearted, industrious and charitable and in the years of her life’s activity, she was well known and beloved for the many kindly acts she performed.  Mrs. Weeks was buried at Black River Falls on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 18th, burial services being conducted by Rev. L.E. Hoisington.
