Hubing, Patricia Ann (Marriage - 16 April 1955)

In a ceremony performed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Neillsville on Saturday, April 16, Miss Patricia Ann Hubing became the bride of Lawrence John Anger.  The Rev. Fr. Peter Leketas performed the double ring ceremony at 2:00 p.m. before an altar of Easter lilies.

The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hubing of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. John Anger of Merrillan.

The bride was attired in a gown of four tiered net over lace with satin and center panel of lace in the skirt.  The lace bodice was trimmed in pearls and an Elizabethan collar.  Her short veil of pure silk was trimmed with pearls. She carried a crescent bouquet with an orchid for the center, surrounded by yellow roses and white hyacinths, tied with white streamers.

Miss Lillian Chadwick was her maid of honor, dressed in a yellow Crystallet gown. Her flowers were yellow carnations. Miss Donna Neumann, as bridesmaid, wore a green dress, identical to that of the maid of honor. She also carried yellow carnations.

The groom was attended by Adrian Hubing and Alfred Neumann, as best man.  Kenneth Anger and Delano Hubing ushered.

Wade Anger, Eau Claire, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.  Kathleen Hubing, sister of the bride, acted as flower girl.

A wedding reception for approximately 200 guests was held at the Legion Hall in Neillsville.  The hall was decorated in yellow and green with bouquets of yellow daffodils.

After their return from a wedding trip to South Dakota, Mr. and Mrs. Anger will make their home at Merrillan.

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School with the class of 1952 and has been employed at the Frist National Bank.  The groom was graduated from the Merrillan High School in 1948.
