Seebandt, Henry C. (23 April 1880 - 11 July 1955) 
 

Henry C. Seebandt, 75, Town of Weston farmer, died July 11, 1955, at Neillsville.  
 

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, at 3:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral home.  The Rev. H. F. Brauer of the Christie Lutheran Church will officiate.  Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Mr. Seebandt was born April 23, 1880, in Germany, where he lived until 1906.  His marriage to Helena Heinz took place October 29, 1905, in Germany. The year after their marriage they came to the U. S., settling in Illinois, where he worked for the railroad for seven years.  The family then moved to Juneau County, where they farmed for 30 years.  In 1943 they bought their present farm in the Town of Weston, which has been their home since.  He became ill about a month ago. 
 

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Herman of Loyal and Henry Seebandt, Jr., of Neillsville, R 4; and a daughter, Mrs. Hayward (Margareta) Watson of Garland, Tex.  Two sisters and two brothers are still residing in Germany. Six grandchildren also survive. 
 

He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Christie.

Services were held July 15, for Henry C. Seebandt, 75, of the Town of Weston. The Rev. H. F. Brauer, pastor of the Christie Lutheran Church, conducted the services from the Georgas Funeral Home.  Interment was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.  
 

Pallbearers were Henry Kroll, LaVerne Cutts, James Nozar, Conrad Stelloh, Henry Markwardt and Roy Thompson.  Mrs. LaVerne Cutts, Mrs. Erich Lueck, Mrs. Wilmer Lueck, Mrs. Donald Drescher and Mrs. George Schaefer were in charge of the flowers.  
 

Out of town people attending included: Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Watson and children of Garland, Tex.; Mrs. Frieda Wilkenson and Mrs. Betty Martinson, Cherryville, Kans.
