Vogel, Henry (? - 22 October 1955) 
 

Funeral services for Henry G. Vogel, who died October 22, were held in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Oct. 26. 
 

Henry Vogel was a sergeant in World War I and served in Europe.  Military rites were conducted by the local American Legion Post.  Members serving as pallbearers were Jesse Raab, Perry Volk, V. O. Kauffman, Henry Boe, Philip Capelle, and Kenneth Weyhmiller.  Eugene Colby is post commander.  
 

Flag bearers were Robert Lulloff and Dan Wolter, Squad commander was Oscar Fricke and  the firing squad consisted of George Zuehlke, Jr., Roland Seeman, John A. Olsen, Wilbur Kehrberg, Leonard Kollmansberger, Edward Karpinski, and Clam Esselman.
