Ormond, George Eugene (? - 24 December 1955) 
 

George Eugene Ormond, 64, a former Clark County resident, died in his sleep, December 24 at his home in Kansas City, Mo. 
 

He was born in Crystal Falls, Mich., and was a resident of Wyandotte County about 35 years before coming to Clark County.  Mr. Ormond was a postal transit clerk at the main railway post office in the Union Station, Kansas City, Mo., before retiring last November. 
 

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth Ormond; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Adams, Liberty, Mo.; a son, Donald, Lawrence, Kans.; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Zilisch, Neillsville; Mrs. Mary Elmer, Sunnyvale, Calif.; Mrs. Eva Vale, Cottage Grove, and Mrs. Esther Welch, Waunakee; four brothers: John, Neillsville; Douglas, Greenwood; Charles, Kennedy, N. Y.; and William, Milwaukee; and a grandson. 
 

John Ormond attended the funeral Tuesday.
