Buetsch, Louise Margaret (Gregerson) (March 24, 1914 - January 3, 2010) 
 

Louise Margaret Buetsch, 95, of Unity, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at the Bethel Center in Arpin. 
 

Louise was born March 24, 1914, in Unity the daughter of Andrew and Frances (Grunewald) Gregerson.   
 

She gained education in a country school near Unity and later attended college in Wausau. She then began teaching in one-room country schools in and around Marathon County for 19 years.   
 

On October 8, 1937, Louise married Clarence Frank Buetsch in Winona, MN. They armed in the Unity area and later moved to Chicago where Louise was employed as an underwriter for Combined Insurance Company.  
 

They returned to Unity in 1978 where she stayed very active in her church group at Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a member.  
 

Clarence passed away on June 13, 1985.   
 

Louise loved sending time with her family. She was both a Chicago Cubs and green Bay Packer fan. 
 

Louise is survived by her children, Norene Palmer of Lafatte, IN, Gary (Mariann) Buetsch of Skokie, IL and Cheryl Alexander of Marshfield; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and one sister, Flora Eckes of Tulsa, OK.   
 

She is preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Audrey Losurdo; and two brothers, Orin and Everett.   

 
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity. The Rev. Dale Wilford will preside. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as her pallbearers will be David Alexander, Jr., Michael Buetsch, Todd and Tanner Denzine, Jeremy Weinfurtner, Joe DuLong, Edward Boyer, and Dan Nelson.
