Lang, Mildred T. (Hummer) (June 21, 1928 - December 18, 2009)

 
Mildred T. Lang, (nee Hummer), 81, Hartford, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at her residence.

 
Millie was born June 21, 1928, in Milwaukee, to Raymond and Marie (nee Tennies) Hummer.  
 

She was united in marriage to Alois "Rusty" Lang on May 14, 1949, in Athens.

 
Millie was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed gardening and babysitting for her grandchildren and seeing her great-grandchildren.

 
Millie is survived by her five children, Daniel (Arlene) Lang of Neosho, Sandy (Jim) Upson of Hartford, Linda (Carl) Roethle of Rubicon, Gloria (Howard) Schuett of Reesville, Thomas Lang of Hartford; one daughter-in-law, Joanie (Pat) Frank of Hartford; 27 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Art Hummer of Athens, Rosemary "Rose"  of Hartford, Margaret of Arizona, and Ervin (Judy) Hummer of Arizona; her sisters-in-law, Carol Hummer of Brookfield and Carol Hummer of Wausau. Millie is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rusty; son, James Lang, and her brothers, Chuck and Jim Hummer.

 
Memorial services for Millie were held Jan. 3, at 3 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union Street, Hartford with Fr. David LaPlante presiding. The family greeted family and friends from noon until the time of service.
