Jandrt, Delores A. (12 NOV 1955)

The Rev. John H. Hodges performed the double ring ceremony at St. Joseph Church in Boyd on Saturday, Nov. 12, 1955 for the marriage of Miss Delores Ann Jandrt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jandrt, and Chester Edward Strzok of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).  The Nuptial Mass was performed at 9:30 a.m. before an altar which was decorated with bouquets of bronze and gold chrysanthemums and mums and in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends.  The church choir rendered the selection "On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother" as the bride placed a bouquet at the feet of the Blessed Virgin.

The other bridal aides were Miss Irene Meyer, Boyd, friend of the bride, and Miss Virginia Swiontek, Thorp, cousin of the groom.  Their gowns were styled identically as the one worn by the maid of honor and wore matching hats.  Each attendant wore a rhinestone necklace, a gift of the bride.

The best man was Clayton Jandrt, brother of the bride, and the groomsmen were Norman Jandrt, brother of the bride, and Roman Stroinski, cousin of the groom.  The groom and the attendants wore black suits with white carnation boutonnieres.  Each attendant  … (the rest of my copy was cut off)
