 Lorrin Howard Nall, 80, Spencer, died on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, with his family by his side. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Spencer United Methodist Church. Interment was held at West Spencer Cemetery.
 
 Lorrin H. Nall was born on Jan. 11, 1930, to G. Orville and Alma (nee Anderson) Nall, in the town of Spencer. He graduated from Spencer High School and worked for his father’s business, Spencer Home Oil Company, until enlisting in the U. S. Navy in 1951. He met the love of his life, Bettye Parimore, in Dec. 1951, while stationed at Millimgtron, Tenn. They married in Norfolk, Va., on June 27, 1952. Upon discharge in 1955, he continued working for his father until they built and opened Nall’s Electronics in 1960.
 
 He joined the Spencer Fire Department in 1948, was named chief in 1961 and served in that capacity for 35 years, retiring from the department in 1996. His lifetime service to the community included many civic organizations and the Spencer Village Board as a trustee for a trustee for about 10 years. He was an active member of Spencer United Methodist Church.
 
 He is lovingly survived by his wife, Bettye, Spencer; and four daughters, Kathy (Stan) Mathes, Fond du Lac; Deb (Greg) Pokollus, Spencer, and Children, Jennifer (Kory) Schreiner, and their daughters Kaelyn, Hannah, and baby, and Chad (Natasha) Pokallus, and their son, Rhyan, Nancy (Harlow) Kibbel, Spencer, and children Tiffany (Nate) Czaikowski and their daughters Hayden and Jeaurdyn, and Michael Kibbel; Pam (Duane Busche) Smith, Spencer, and her children Zachary (Jackie Breu) Nall and Meghan Smith; a brother Orlin "Skip" Nall, Venice, Fla.; a sister, Evelyn (David) Quick, Watertown; and uncle, Gordon (Dorothy) Anderson, Dorchester; and many other family and friends.
 
 Preceding him in death were his parents.
 
 Options for memorials include contributions to a scholarship fund that will be developed in his name.
