Litka, Herman (6 July 1881 - 22 November 1958) 
 

Herman Litka, 77, died following a heart attack at 4:40 p.m. November 22, at the farm home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Schmidt, in the Town of Beaver. 
 

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal.  Burial was to be made in the Lutheran Cemetery.  The Rev. John Pfohl was to officiate.  
 

Mr. Litka was born in Brandenburg, Germany, July 6, 1881, and came to the United States as an infant.  His parents settled in Beaver Township where he resided until 1945, when he moved into Loyal.  He was married to Elsie Foelske November 17, 1909, in the Town of Beaver.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. 
 

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Ervin (Verna) Schmidt, two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Pickruhn, Mrs. Earl (Anna) Stowe, Mrs. Ella Philpott, all of Loyal, and Mrs. Andrew (Amelia) Lydiksen of Riplinger.
