Mueller, Mildred M. (14 NOV 1910 - 13 APR 1956)

 

Mildred Mabel Mueller, the wife of Oscar O. Mueller of Athens, Wis., formerly northwest of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), departed this life Friday morning, April 13, 1956 about 10:00 o’clock from a heart attack following an operation for the removal of a tumor.  Her unexpected passing is mourned by her widowed husband, two daughters, Mrs. Edgar J. Linjer (Dolores) and Mrs. Calvin Pawlak (Lois); two sons, Benjamin and Larry gene.  Among the bereaved there are also the two sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, four boys and three girls, and one brother, Elmer Schultz of Bergland, Mich.

 

The deceased was born Nov. 14, 1910, at Spokane, Wash., the daughter of Benjamin Schultz and his wife Minnie, nee Fuller.  In her infancy she was baptized in a Methodist church.  When her parents moved to Edgar, Wis., she united with the Lutheran Church in Edgar in the winter of 1928.  On Sept. 14, 1927 she was united in marriage to Oscar Otto Mueller at Edgar, Wis.  After living at Edgar, Greenwood, Boyd and Withee, they had less than a month ago taken up residence at Athens, Wis.  The deceased had note enjoyed good health for a number of years.  Among her hobbies was the raising of every variety of flower in her gardens.

 

Funeral services were held from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, on Monday, April 16, at 2:00 p.m.  The choir sang: "Be Still, My Soul," and "Abide with Me" and Mrs. Ted Klabon, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. William Wirtala, sang: "Just As I Am."  Pastor Theodore Predoehl preached on Psalm 23, "The Lord is My Shepherd, I Shall Not Want."  The Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home was in charge.  Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery.  St. John’s Lutheran Ladies Aid served refreshments in the church parlors following eh burial service.
