Robert G. Mason of Black River Falls, a pioneer of the Black river valley, and a well known character to many in this vicinity, died at Black River Falls on Saturday, Nov. 2nd. For some years he has been a state game warden and has made a most excellent official. He was born in Clark county, Oct. 29, 1849, and with his parents moved to Black River Falls at the age of seven years.
