Frank Tompkins returned to his work at Staples, Minn., last Friday. 
 

Hale Davis came down from Minneapolis for an over-Sunday visit with his family. 
 

Misses Shapiro and Potther spent Saturday with friends at Marshfield. 
 

The Granton division of the Clark county teachers will meet at Granton school house next Saturday.  County Supt. Miss Kennedy will talk on Social Center work. 
 

Mrs. J.J. Wright entertained the Circle Wednesday.  The Circle is preparing for an Easter sale and supper.   
 

Fritz Gerber and wife returned from Rochester, Minn., Sunday where they had been to consult Mayo Bros. regarding his health. 
 

H.L. Hart of Peshastin, Wash., called on old friends here last week. 
 

O.C. Henze of Plymouth purchased the Klein farm of A. Lammers last week. 
 

Miss Edna Kemmeter has accepted a position as trimmer at the Chas. Davel store at Loyal. 
 

Mrs. Augusta Reidel sold her house and lot to Gladys Wage Saturday. 
 

Mrs. Rice Davis visited her daughter at Arpin several days last week. 
 

Mrs. Henry Braatz of the Ridge called on town folks Thursday.
