Biermeier, Catherine A. (26 OCT 1957)

 

Miss Katherine Ann Biermeier, daughter of Mrs. Frank Biermeier, 1309 Altoona Av., Eau Claire, and Alfred Ciokiewicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ciokiewicz, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage Saturday at ten o’clock in Immaculate Conception Parish, Eau Claire, Rev. Daniel O’Reilly officiated.

 

The bride was given in marriage by her brother Thomas Biermeier.  She wore a princess style gown of white satin brocade with cap sleeves worn with matching gauntlets.  Her fingertip veil fell from a crown of pearls and rhinestones.  She carried a large white mum surrounded by small feather mums on a prayer book.

 

Miss Janet Larson, the bride’s only attendant, was attired in a princess style gown of light blue taffeta and chiffon.  She carried yellow and rust mums.

 

The groom’s brother, Larry Ciokiewicz, was best man.  Ushers were Lennard Sluzewski and Keith Phillips, Owen.

 

A reception was held in the American Legion club rooms from 2 to 4 p.m.

 

Mrs. Biermeier attended the wedding in a black sheath dress with white accessories and a corsage of red tea roses.  The groom’s mother was attired in a black and white dress with white accessories and a similar corsage.

 

The couple left for a honeymoon in northern Minnesota in a light plane.  They will make their home in Eau Claire, where the groom is studying to be a commercial pilot.
