Bauer, Doris (12 JUNE 1948)

 

Miss Doris Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bauer, and Vincent E. Braun, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benidict Braun, exchanged Their marriages vows during a nuptial mass at St. Anthony;s Catholic church here. The double ring ceremony took place on Saturday, June 12, with the Rev. Fr. Aloys Zinthefer officiating.

 

The bride was given in marriage by her father, wore an entrained gown of white ninon trimmed with lace. She carried a bouquet of lilies and red roses.

 

The maid of honor, Mrs. Margie Rueth, sister of the bride, was dressed in yellow marquisette. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white carnations. Miss Creen Sepper of Chicago, was in aqua. The bride’s niece, Nancy Johnson, of Greenwood was flower girl, and she wore a pink dress. Her flowers were a nosegay of pink and white carnations.

 

Bernard Ruety, brother-in-law of the bride was best man; the groom’s brother, Gerald Braun, of Janesville was groomsman, and another brother, Tommy Braun, was ringbearer.

 

Breakfast was seved at the home of the groom’s parents. Dinner and supper were served to about 90 guests at the home of the bride’s parents.

 

After a honeymoon in Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Braun will make their home near Greenwood, where he is employed on a farm.

 

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
