Albert, Joyce A. (7 OCT 1967)

Immanuel Unity Church of Christ at Greenwood was the setting for the wedding of Miss Joyce Alvina Albert, 903B S. Central Ave., and Lyle Lewis Bulgrin, 1105 E. Blodgett St., both of Marshfield.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Albert, route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mrs. Mary Bulgrin, Owen, and the late DuWayne Bulgrin, during the 2:30 p.m. nuptial ceremony Saturday, Oct. 7, 1967, performed by the Rev. David Logue.

Ronald Meinhardt was the organist and Kenneth Steiger the vocalist.

When the bride entered church she was seen in a satin A-line trapunto, embroidered gown with cathedral train, and a nylon illusion bouffant veil secured to a cluster of forget-me-nots, crystal studs and pearls.  She carried an arrangement of yellow roses.

Serving as best man and matron of honor, respectively, were Mr. and Mrs. Burdell Bulgrin of Albuquerque, N.M.  Miss Kathy Herr, Marshfield, and Miss Ardith Schwarze, Milwaukee, were bridesmaids; Tom Smiley, Cross Plains, and Peter Borens, Marshfield, were groomsmen; and Allen and LeRoy Fravert ushered.

The bridal aides were seen in gold brocade and custard crepe gowns and matching brocade petal headpieces with bouffant veils.  Each carried a basket of fall flowers and foliage.

The wedding dinner was served at the church and the reception took place at the bride’s parental home.  After a wedding trip to the Bahama Islands and Florida, the Bulgrins will live in Marshfield at 1105 E. Blodgett St.

The bride graduated in 1960 from Greenwood High School and in 1964 from Wis. State University, Eau Claire.  She is employed in the laboratory at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Her husband, a 1960 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, also graduated in 1964 at Eau Claire and now is a chemistry supervisor in the Laboratory at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
