Chili (5 December 1929)
Sara Sample was home for her Thanksgiving vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Sample took her back to her school at Hawkins, Sunday.
The Chili School closed from last Wednesday till Monday for Thanksgiving vacation.
Mrs. Brom has moved to her sister’s, Mrs. H. Koser, for the winter.
Glen Snow had Thanksgiving dinner with Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Hungerford.
Geneva Montag and several others were at Marshfield Monday to see Santa and the reindeer.
Mrs. G. Snow came home from Marshfield, Sunday, where she has been caring for her daughter, Mrs. R. D. Campbell’s family. Her grandson, Roger, accompanied her to stay a few weeks.
Mrs. Campbell is slowly recovering from a serious operation, and was in the hospital four weeks.
Miss Lena Bealer started for Rochester, Minn., Thursday, with the intention of taking up Nurses Training.
Mrs. Price Berg went to Sullivan Tuesday in response to a message received that her mother, Mrs. Cora Dow had a serious attack of gall stones. Mrs. Dow was taking care of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Schultz and baby girl, born, Nov. 21.
